TERMS & CONDITIONS | Scotty’s Stunt and Tactical Driving Course LLC
1.0 Booking, Application, & Vetting
1.1 Process Overview: Participation is a multi-step process designed for student safety and skill placement. Admission is at the sole discretion of Scotty Richards (hereinafter "Course Director").
1.2 Discovery Call: Prospective students may book a 15–30 minute session. While no initial charge is made, a valid credit card must be vaulted via Stripe.
1.3 Administrative Fee: If a student verbally commits to the program during a Discovery Call or Interview but fails to submit their formal Cohort Application within 48 hours, a non-refundable $150 Administrative & Consultation Fee will be charged to the card on file.
1.4 Cohort Application: All students must submit a formal application and vault their card.
Pre-Approved: Card is charged the selected payment (Full or $250 Deposit) immediately upon submission.
Standard Applicants: Following a successful Interview, the selected payment is processed immediately.
2.0 Payment & Financing
2.1 Full Payment: Tuition is charged immediately upon acceptance/pre-approval.
2.2 Installment Plans: A $250 non-refundable commitment deposit is charged immediately upon acceptance. This is applied as a credit toward total tuition.
2.3 Finance Agreement: Students selecting installments must finalize their Stripe/Klarna/Afterpay invoice within 48 hours. Failure to do so results in seat forfeiture and retention of the $250 deposit.
2.4 Processing Fees: All transactions are subject to third-party processing fees (approx. 2.9% for standard credit cards and 6% for Klarna/Afterpay). These fees are retained by the financial institutions and are non-refundable in all circumstances.
3.0 Course Size & Viability
3.1 Capacity: Each course is limited to a maximum of 5 drivers and a minimum of 3.
3.2 Course-Initiated Cancellation: Scotty’s Stunt and Tactical Driving Course LLC reserves the right to cancel any cohort that does not meet the 3-student minimum up to 10 days prior to the start date.
3.3 Cancellation Remedies: If a cohort is cancelled by the Course Director, students may:
A. Reschedule for a future course date with priority placement.
B. Receive a refund of tuition paid, less non-refundable Stripe/Klarna processing fees.
4.0 Rescheduling & Student Cancellation
4.1 Notice Requirement: Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days before the course start date.
4.2 Student Cancellation Fee: If a student cancels at least 7 days out, they may reschedule or receive a refund minus a $500 cancellation fee and all non-refundable processing fees.
4.3 Late Cancellation: Requests made less than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable.
5.0 Travel & Logistics
5.1 Travel Responsibility: Scotty’s Stunt and Tactical Driving Course LLC is not responsible for any travel-related expenses. Students are advised to wait for the 10-day viability window before booking non-refundable travel. Logistics provided in confirmation emails are for planning purposes only.
6.0 Waiver & Insurance
6.1 Mandatory Release: All drivers must sign a Release of Liability & Waiver acknowledging the inherent risks of stunt and tactical driving. This must be signed on Day One before any participation. Failure to sign will result in immediate dismissal without refund.
